Gen25 is seeking a Senior Business Consultant to support the continued growth of our strategy and transformation consulting practice. You will work closely with the Director of Business Consulting on the definition, delivery, and scaling of transformation programmes that help organisations accelerate progress across their most critical business challenges. This role combines strategic problem-solving and hands‑on execution, making it ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise strategy and transformation.

You will play a leading role in client engagements, helping to design cross‑functional transformation strategies and support their implementation to deliver results. Beyond client delivery, you will contribute to the continued development of the practice by helping refine our ways of working, supporting business development activities, and sharing knowledge across the team. This is a role for a dynamic, cross‑industry thinker who can move seamlessly from senior management conversations to operational planning — and who enjoys working in a fast‑moving, collaborative, and fun environment. At Gen25, we try to move fast, think big, and have fun while we’re at it!

Key Responsibilities
  • Transformation delivery: Support the design and delivery of business transformation programmes that connect strategic ambition with operational delivery, spanning areas such as growth & expansion, digital enablement, process optimisation, and operating model optimisation.
  • Strategic advisory and problem solving: Work closely with clients’ leadership teams to frame challenges, identify opportunities, and define transformation roadmaps that drive sustainable business impact.
  • Workstream delivery & coordination: Lead workstreams within business strategy and transformation consulting engagements, ensuring delivery meets defined outcomes, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Stakeholder management: Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, contributing to an exceptional client experience and long‑term value creation.
  • Business development support: Support business development activities through proposal development, client discussions, and pre‑sales activities, while helping identify opportunities to create additional client value.
  • Collaboration & enablement: Work closely with cross‑functional teams — including our digital, data, and technology experts — to ensure our strategies are practical, scalable, and supported by the right solutions.
  • Team contribution and knowledge sharing: Support and collaborate with colleagues, share knowledge and experience, and contribute to a culture of excellence, innovation, and curiosity.
What You Bring
  • Experience: 4+ years in management or transformation consulting, with a strong record of contributing to or leading complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes that delivered measurable results.
  • Transformation expertise: Experience in designing and executing transformation initiatives across organisational, digital, or operational domains.
  • Strategic & analytical strength: Strong structured thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex challenges into actionable insights and implementation plans.
  • Commercial awareness: Comfortable engaging with client stakeholders, understanding business drivers, and identifying opportunities to create additional value for clients.
  • Interpersonal impact: Outgoing, engaging, and naturally collaborative. You inspire confidence and build rapport easily, both with clients and colleagues.
  • Entrepreneurial energy: Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a growing, fast‑paced environment where initiative and creativity are key.
  • Technology awareness (nice to have): Understanding of how enterprise platforms and emerging technologies support business transformation (e.g. CRM, ERP, AI, automation) is beneficial.
