Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Paediatric Band 5 Nurse for Starlight Ward.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with children and have experience in caring for children and young people with a variety of needs, including mental health and learning disabilities.

The Homerton is an 18-bed unit providing holistic care for babies, children, and young people from 0-16, with an emerging pathway for 16 & 17-year-olds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the MDT and be involved in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
  • Support care programmes and care pathways.
  • Document patient details to the required standard.

We offer training opportunities, including development of skills in caring for children with learning difficulties, disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Child Nurse.
  • Hospital or community experience.
  • Ability to support in area of clinical practice and prioritize/delegate tasks.
