Job Description

The role

Reporting to the Interim Head of HR, the HRIS Coordinator will act as lead administrator for Cascade, checking and updating approximately 300 staff records and coordinating the phased rollout of system access across the College.

The HRIS Coordinator has responsibility for system configuration and user access management, troubleshooting issues in liaison with IRIS support, and developing training and guidance materials for staff. The role involves close, day-to-day communication with staff and managers across the College to build engagement and confidence in the new system ahead of and during each rollout phase.

What we are looking for

You will bring proven, hands-on experience administering Cascade specifically, including data entry, data cleansing, workflow administration, user access management and system configuration; familiarity with Cascade is essential due to the expected timeframe for the project. You will have strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking and correcting data at volume, sound working knowledge of workflows and Excel or similar tools, and an understanding of data protection principles as they apply to HR data. You will be a confident, approachable communicator, well organised and able to manage a fixed-term project against a clear timeline, and available to start within one month of offer.

Experience supporting or leading an HRIS implementation or system rollout would be an advantage. Experience working in a higher education, collegiate or similarly complex multi-stakeholder environment, a CIPD qualification (or working towards one), and experience producing user guidance or delivering system training to non-specialist audiences are also desirable.

How to apply

To be considered, applications must include a current CV, covering letter setting out your suitability for the role, and details of 2 referees, one of whom should have detailed knowledge of your ability in relation to the requirements of the role.

The application deadline for the role is 23:59 BST on Sunday 18 October 2026. Early applications are encouraged; the College reserves the right to close this vacancy early if sufficient applications are received.

Shortlisting and interview stages will take place shortly after closing. Given the compressed rollout timeline, the preferred start date is as soon as possible thereafter, within one month of offer.
