Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive and planned maintenance tasks across site facilities, prioritising safety and regulatory compliance.
- Service and maintain a diverse range of mechanical plant equipment and process machinery.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns on all plant and process equipment, minimising downtime and ensuring continuous operations.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, promoting safety, compliance and best practices in mechanical maintenance.
- Proactively identify and report safety or operational issues to line management to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Occasionally support wider team activities during planned production changeovers or scheduled outages, which may occur outside normal working hours.
Person Specification
- Proven experience working with manufacturing process plant equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, process pipework, and air‑handling equipment.
- Experienced individual who enjoys a structured working week of 37.5 hours, with flexibility to work occasional overtime when required.
