A highly professional international family based in Notting Hill, London, is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Private PA / Household Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of their London residence and provide wider personal and administrative support to the family.
The family currently resides primarily in Bangkok, the successful candidate will need to be highly trustworthy, self-motivated and confident working independently whilst liaising across different time zones. This is a varied, fast-paced role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys keeping a private residence running efficiently behind the scenes. The role will involve coordinating contractors and household operations, overseeing ongoing property-related matters, and providing wider private PA support to the family.
There may also be occasional travel to Bangkok, and once fully established in the role, there may be flexibility to work from home one to two days per week. The current PA will be leaving the position shortly, so the family is keen to find someone who can start as soon as possible to ensure a smooth handover.
Key Responsibilities- Overseeing the daily running, organisation and management of the London residence
- Coordinating cleaners, gardeners, contractors, maintenance providers and household staff
- Monitoring household maintenance, servicing schedules, inspections and compliance checks
- Organising repairs, appointments, deliveries and tradespeople
- Managing household supplies, stock control and household systems
- Handling incoming post, household correspondence and important documentation
- Maintaining filing systems, household records and administrative systems
- Managing calendars, appointments and schedules for family members
- Coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, itineraries, visas and passport renewals
- Assisting with events, gifting and special occasions
- Running personal, household and ad hoc errands
- Liaising professionally with service providers, suppliers and external contacts
- Handling correspondence, emails and phone calls on behalf of the family
- Researching services, suppliers and purchases as required
- Tracking ongoing household and property-related tasks to completion
- Overseeing the general well-being and care arrangements for the family cat
- Providing flexible day-to-day support to the family where needed
- Anticipating needs proactively and solving problems independently
- Maintaining complete discretion, professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Have previous experience working within a private household or family office environment
- Be highly organised with strong administrative and multitasking skills
