Cooking forms an important part of the role. The family enjoy fresh, home‑cooked food and are looking for someone who is confident planning meals, shopping for ingredients and preparing a variety of nutritious dishes each day.
Alongside the cooking responsibilities, the successful candidate will manage all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, ironing, wardrobe care, household organisation, shopping and errands. The family are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and able to use their initiative, with the confidence to identify what needs attention and take ownership of their role. - Planning and preparing fresh, nutritious family meals on a daily basis
- Grocery shopping and household shopping
- Kitchen organisation and stock management
- Managing household supplies and ensuring the home remains well stocked and organised
- Running household errands as required
- Coordinating deliveries and overseeing appointments with contractors and service providers where necessary
- Occasional driving duties for family members
- Daily dog walking and general pet care
- Watering plants and assisting with light gardening tasks when required
- Supporting the overall smooth running, organisation and upkeep of the household
- Have previous experience working within a private household
- Be an excellent housekeeper with strong attention to detail
