A warm and welcoming family based in Wimbledon is seeking a professional and reliable daily Housekeeper to help manage their 5-bedroom home. The household includes three children (looked after by a nanny) and a small Cavapoo dog. Responsibilities
- Dusting and polishing furniture, surfaces, ornaments, and skirting boards
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Cleaning bathrooms, toilets, and kitchen areas
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Cleaning mirrors, windows (interior), and glass doors
- Emptying bins and managing recycling
- Washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes and linens
- Caring for delicate fabrics (hand washing, steaming, etc.)
- Organising wardrobes, drawers, and household storage
- Cleaning and tidying kitchen surfaces, cupboards, and appliances
- Washing dishes and emptying dishwashers
- Organising pantry and fridge (checking expiry dates, restocking)
- Managing household supplies and shopping lists
- Accepting deliveries
- Occasional light meal preparation or simple cooking (by agreement)
- Keeping rooms tidy and clutter-free
- Cleaning behind and under furniture
- Occasional dog walking for the family Cavapoo
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Housekeeper in a private household
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in work
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Good physical health and stamina
