Summary

We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Housekeeper to provide high-quality cleaning and housekeeping support within a private one-bedroom home in Kensington. The property features a formal open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, as well as a small shop attached to the front of the home. The ideal candidate will be discreet, highly experienced in private households, and confident caring for high-end finishes and furnishings.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning across all rooms to an excellent standard
• Deep cleaning of kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living areas
• Care and appropriate maintenance of high-end surfaces such as hardwood and marble
• Changing bed linen and towels
• Laundry care including washing, ironing and putting away clothes
• Wardrobe organisation and management
• Emptying and restocking the dishwasher
• Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies and refreshments, notifying the PA as needed
• Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the PA promptly
• Maintaining discretion, privacy and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• Experience working in a high-end or private household
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, products and safe handling
• Excellent attention to detail
• Trustworthy, discreet and professional approach
• Fluent in English
• Contactable previous references
