Salary: Β£35-Β£45 per hour, depending on experience and the agreed basis of engagement
Hours Required: 12-14 hours per week over two sessions. The preferred schedule is approximately 9am-3pm on two weekdays, although there is flexibility over the days and times.

Overview
A friendly and informal household in Wandsworth is looking for an experienced Housekeeper PA to provide practical household, organisational and personal assistance on an ongoing, part-time basis.
The role is approximately 60% housekeeping and domestic support and 40% PA, logistics and home organisation. There is no direct childcare, although the Housekeeper PA will prepare healthy snacks and food options for an eight-year-old child.
The household occupies a well-organised, modern two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment within a concierge-serviced residential building. The principal travels regularly and works from home at times.
This position would suit someone proactive, discreet and highly organised who is confident working independently and communicating through brief digital updates.
The client would ideally like to engage an established self-employed professional who can invoice for their services. A permanent PAYE position may also be considered. The precise basis of engagement will depend on the successful candidate and the proposed working arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- General housekeeping and maintaining the apartment to a consistently high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Completing a weekly household reset
- Monitoring and replenishing groceries, household essentials and other supplies
- Clearing parcels from the building's parcel store
- Unpacking deliveries and managing courier and online shopping returns
- Arranging dry-cleaning drop-offs and collections
- Undertaking local errands and visits to specialist shops
- Sourcing fresh ingredients and preparing them ready for cooking
- Preparing healthy snacks and food options for the child
- Researching restaurants, travel options and suitable household service providers
- Assisting with restaurant bookings, travel planning and other practical arrangements
- Gradually and systematically organising drawers, cupboards and other areas of the home
- Photographing items for remote review and approval when the principal is travelling
- Arranging charity donations, including Gift Aid where appropriate
- Managing the responsible disposal of electronic waste
- Arranging confidential document shredding
- Providing brief and clear updates through WhatsApp or similar platforms
Requirements
- An experienced private household background
- Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper PA, Household Assistant or combined household support role
- Proactive, discreet and highly organised
- Excellent attention to detail
- Confident using technology for communication, research and practical administration
- Comfortable working independently with limited supervision
- Confident in the kitchen and able to prepare ingredients, snacks and simple food options
- Clear and reliable communication
- Happy working within a friendly and informal household
- Able to undertake local errands without requiring a car
