Summary
A warm and welcoming family based in Sevenoaks, Kent is seeking a kind, soft-spoken and proactive Daily Part Time Housekeeper/Nanny. This long-term, permanent role offers approximately 30% childcare and 70% housekeeping duties, making it ideal for a candidate who enjoys varied household support work with a light childcare element. The role is based in a family home with one young child and no pets. A confident driver is required, and a car will be provided for use during working hours.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining a clean, organised and well-run home, while also supporting with light childcare responsibilities. Key duties include:
- General household cleaning to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Preparing and pre-planning family meals (primarily dinner)
- Providing care for a 7-month-old as part of the daily routine: from 7:00am to 7:45am before nursery drop-off, and from 5:45pm to 6:45pm after collecting from nursery and staying with the child until the parents return from work
- Creating a calm, supportive and child-friendly environment
- Housekeeping duties of 3-4 hours per day
Requirements
To be considered for this part time family support role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in a similar Housekeeper/Nanny position
- Confident driver (car provided on duty)
- Valid Paediatric First Aid certification
- Excellent references from previous private households
- Kind, soft-spoken and reliable personality
