A private family based on the Crown Estate in Oxshott is seeking two experienced live-in housekeepers to support the smooth running of two private residences, located approximately 10 minutes apart. Both positions are offered on an individual basis, working alongside another housekeeper as part of a small, well-organised household team. The housekeepers will be based in a newly built five-bedroom luxury home, where each will have their own private bedroom and ensuite. This property is occupied by a family member who lives independently. The family's main residence is a short drive away, and the role involves shared responsibility for maintaining both homes to a consistently high standard.
The property where you will be based is home to a gentleman who lives independently and enjoys his routine within a well-run household. While this is not a care role, the family is looking for housekeepers who are naturally warm, attentive and happy to provide a reassuring presence in the home. This may include preparing simple meals or refreshments, making a cup of tea, and contributing to a calm, comfortable and well-managed environment on a day-to-day basis. This element of the role is about awareness and approach rather than responsibility for care and would suit someone who takes quiet pride in running a home well and being a positive, steady presence within it. The household also includes three Airedales, so a genuine love of dogs and confidence handling larger breeds is essential. This is a long-term opportunity within a respectful and well-run private household, suited to professional housekeepers who take pride in their work and are looking for stability.
