A friendly, down-to-earth family based in Chobham is seeking a reliable, proactive full-time Housekeeper / Household PA to support the smooth running of their home and family life. This is a varied, hands-on role within a large family home, suited to someone who is comfortable taking ownership of both housekeeping and household administration responsibilities. The role combines day-to-day housekeeping, dog care, household coordination, and practical PA support.

The family are looking for someone practical, organised and easy to have around, who is happy to get on with what needs doing without close direction. During school holidays and busier family periods, there will also be a greater need for driving support for the children's activities and commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full housekeeping of a large family home
  • Cleaning, tidying and maintaining an organised household
  • Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
  • Care of two dogs, including daily walking, feeding and general day-to-day care
  • House and dog care when the family are away, including occasional weekend cover by agreement
  • Driving and general errands as required
  • Increased driving support during school holidays, including sports activities, social commitments and shopping
  • Household administration and PA support
  • Organising MOTs, servicing, deliveries and household appointments
  • Liaising with contractors, tradespeople and suppliers where required
  • Assisting with household projects and general coordination
  • Helping research holidays, bookings or family arrangements when needed
  • Managing and overseeing practical household tasks, such as maintenance scheduling and ongoing household organisation
  • Supporting the overall smooth running and upkeep of the household
  • Light gardening duties or coordination with gardeners where needed
Requirements
  • Previous experience working within a private household
  • Experience supporting the smooth running of a busy household

  • Comfortable with dogs and daily dog care responsibilities
  • Flexible and reliable, particularly regarding house-sitting and occasional changes to routine
  • Strong driving experience and confidence on the road
