Salary: £35,000 to £36,500 gross per year

Start Date: Early January 2026 (orientation in December welcome if available)

Hours Required: 37 hours per week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. 8 am to 5:15 pm

Driver: Yes, must have own car

Summary

A warm, organised and upbeat family is seeking an experienced and engaging nanny housekeeper to care for their two young daughters in their new Godalming home. This role offers a lovely balance of childcare and supporting a smooth-running and happy household. Both parents work between home and office, so the nanny must be confident in sole charge care, especially with the baby.

Key Responsibilities

Childcare – majority of the role

• Sole charge care for the baby during the day
• School drop-offs and pick-ups for the 4‑year‑old
• Planning fun, stimulating age‑appropriate activities
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
• Supporting positive routines, learning and development
• Bath and bedtime help when required

Household support (light and family‑focused)

• Tidying family living areas and children’s spaces
• Children’s laundry and general organization
• Loading/unloading the dishwasher and kitchen upkeep
• Simple errands (groceries, parcel drop-offs etc.)
• Short dog walks as part of daily outings if comfortable

Requirements

• Proven experience caring for babies and pre‑school children
• DBS Enhanced (or willing to obtain)li>
• Valid Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain)
• Nanny insurance required
• Responsible driver with own car
• Warm, caring, organised and proactive
• Able to work confidently with parents sometimes at home
