Housekeeper – Part Time – Ockley, near Dorking, Surrey

Overview

A family in Ockley, Surrey (near Dorking) is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain the lived-in areas of their 5-bedroom detached home. Only two bedrooms and the main living spaces are in regular use. The role is for one full weekday per week, with flexibility on which day is worked. The household includes a teenage son and a small dog. An elderly family member resides independently in an adjoining annexe with her two small dogs and companion carers. Location: Ockley, Surrey. Salary: £20 gross per hour. Start Date: ASAP. Hours: One full weekday per week (day flexible, with preference toward the end of the week). Driver: Driver with own car required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and upkeep of main living areas and two regularly used bedrooms
• Laundry, ironing and changing beds
• Household organisation and occasional errands
• Some food preparation
• Pet care for the family dog, with occasional support for dogs at the annexe if needed

• Experience working in private households
• Excellent attention to detail and initiative

• Hard working and able to manage tasks independently
• Driver with own car
