Live‑In Accommodation: Private bedroom and bathroom provided within both properties. The role involves moving freely between the two homes.
SUMMARY
Live-in Housekeeper / Companion role for a well-established family, supporting the Principal as a trusted, reassuring presence. This is a relationship‑led position suited to a bright, calm and adaptable individual who enjoys companionship, gentle organisation, preparing simple meals and caring for dogs. The role offers variety, travel between two properties and the opportunity to build a meaningful long‑term working relationship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Companionship and Daily Support
- Providing day‑to‑day companionship and reassurance
- Accompanying the Principal on outings such as galleries, museums and places of interest
- Offering a calm, supportive presence within daily routines
- Adapting to plans and preferences with patience and flexibility
- Household Support and Cooking
- Preparing simple, everyday meals
- Supporting the smooth running of daily life alongside existing household staff
- Running errands and local shopping as required
- Dog Care
- Caring for two friendly dogs
- Arranging and attending veterinary and grooming appointments
- Daily dog care and companionship
- Travel and Flexibility
- Moving between the Surrey and Kent properties as required
- Being fully flexible to stay where the Principal is based
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in a companion, housekeeper or similar trusted household role
- Warm, patient and adaptable nature
- Bright, calm and confident in a one‑to‑one support role
- Hands‑on and practical approach
- Dog lover, comfortable caring for older pets
- Driver with a clean licence
- Discreet, reliable and emotionally intelligent
- Able to commit fully to a live‑in role with flexibility
