This is a full-time, on-site role as a Senior Support Worker based in London. The Senior Support Worker will lead and provide tailored support to individuals, ensuring that their personal needs and goals are met with dignity. Responsibilities include overseeing daily care tasks, administering medication, supporting community integration and social activities, assisting with personal care, and guiding personal development. The role also involves mentoring junior team members to ensure high-quality care delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience and expertise in Support Work, with the ability to assist individuals with diverse needs.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication skills to build trust and develop positive relationships.
  • Understanding of Safeguarding procedures and appropriate responses to ensure the safety and well-being of individuals.
  • Technical Support capabilities, including record-keeping and familiarity with care and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lead and mentor others in a caregiving environment.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to caregiving.
  • Formal qualifications in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, are advantageous but not essential.
  • Previous experience in a senior or supervisory role in care is desirable.
