Homelodge Buildings Ltd is seeking a skilled and reliable Site Carpenter to join our dedicated team, working on high-quality modular buildings and timber-frame structures. This hands-on role involves working on-site to carry out a range of carpentry tasks during the installation and finishing phases of our bespoke buildings.
As part of a collaborative and supportive team, the Site Carpenter will be responsible for:
- Fitting timber components, which varies between 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
- Operating power tools including drills, sanders, and nail guns safely and effectively.
- Carrying out painting tasks to finish surfaces as needed.
- Ensuring all work is plumb, level, and square according to project requirements.
- Collaborating with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Full UK driving license.
- Level 2 NVQ in site carpentry or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
