HomeLink Healthcare is recruiting an Associate Clinical Lead to join our expanding Hospital at Home service, providing clinical leadership, mentorship and support to our Community Oncology Nursing team across London and the M25.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Senior Oncology Nurse or SACT Nurse to take a meaningful step into clinical leadership while remaining hands-on in patient care and continuing to make a direct difference to patients receiving cancer treatment at home.

What You Will Be Doing:
As Associate Clinical Lead - Community Oncology, working with Clinical Lead oversight, you will be responsible for the safe, effective and compassionate delivery of Community Oncology services across London.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for the day-to-day clinical delivery of the Community Oncology service
- Delivering safe, high-quality Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) in patients' homes when required
- Providing clinical advice, mentorship and support to Community Oncology Nurses
- Supporting clinical governance, patient safety and quality assurance activities
- Coaching and developing colleagues delivering specialist oncology care
- Supporting SACT competency assessments, education and ongoing professional development
- Monitoring treatment pathways, recognising toxicity and ensuring appropriate escalation
- Supporting the investigation of incidents, clinical risks and service improvements
- Collaborating with consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, pharmacists, GPs and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensuring patients and carers receive outstanding clinical care, education and support throughout their treatment journey
- Participating in service development, audits and continuous quality improvement
- Supporting operational resilience and participating in the on-call rota where required
What We Are Looking For:
We are looking for an experienced Oncology Nurse with a SACT qualification who is ready to take the next step into clinical leadership, combining strong clinical expertise with the ability to inspire, support and develop colleagues.
You will be confident making autonomous clinical decisions in the community and will bring the same commitment to excellence to your leadership practice as you do to your patient care.
Essential requirements:
- Current NMC registration
- SACT qualification and significant experience delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy
- Minimum five years' post-registration nursing experience
- Strong knowledge of SACT treatment protocols, toxicity management and escalation pathways
- Experience managing central venous access devices including PICC lines and Port-a-Cath
- Experience supervising, mentoring or supporting nursing colleagues
- Excellent communication, organisational and clinical decision-making skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role)
Desirable:
- Community nursing or home-based care experience
- Leadership or management qualification
- Experience supporting service development, audit or quality improvement
- Experience caring for private patients
