HomeLink Healthcare is recruiting Bank Community Oncology Nurses to join our Hospital at Home service, delivering safe, high-quality cancer care to patients across London and the M25 - in the comfort of their own homes.

We are offering £29.40 per hour, plus 55p per mile paid from your front door, enhanced rates for weekends and Bank Holidays, and the freedom to choose the shifts that work for you.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Bank Community Oncology Nurse / Bank SACT Nurse, you will deliver specialist cancer care directly to patients in their homes across London and the M25. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) safely and competently in the community setting
  • Undertaking pre-chemotherapy blood sampling and monitoring treatment responses
  • Managing IV therapies and central venous access devices including Port-a-Cath and PICC lines
  • Monitoring patient conditions and escalating concerns to the wider clinical team
  • Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
  • Providing emotional support, education and practical advice to patients and their families
  • Collaborating with consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, pharmacists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Participating in handovers, MDT discussions and clinical governance activities
  • Promoting patient wellbeing, independence and quality of life throughout treatment
What We Are Looking For:

We are looking for a Registered Nurse with solid oncology and SACT experience who is confident, caring and able to work autonomously in the community on a bank basis.

Essential requirements:
  • Active NMC registration
  • Minimum three years' post-registration nursing experience
  • Demonstrated oncology nursing and SACT experience
  • Competency in venepuncture, cannulation and IV drug administration
  • Experience managing central venous access devices (Port-a-Cath and PICC lines)
  • Confident working independently within the community
  • Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available for this role)
