The Role
We are seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Inverness. This role involves supporting young adults living in a four-bedroom home. You will play a key role in helping individuals achieve their goals, build life skills, and engage with their community. We will consider x2 part-time for the right candidates.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with mild learning disabilities
- Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities
- Support individuals in participating in community activities and developing social networks
- Promote independence and confidence through the development of life skills
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to create and follow individual support plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safeguarding procedures
About You
- Previous experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities is desirable but not essential; full training is provided
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible, reliable, and committed to high standards of care
- Confident in using Microsoft Word and SharePoint
- A full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
