Location: Weymouth

Additional information: Flexible rota-based working, between the hours of 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including some weekends. Participation in an on-call out-of-hours rota. Please note, due to the nature of this service, applications are open to women only, in accordance with the provisions of the Equality Act 2010.

About the Role: We’re looking for a Support Worker to join our incredible Haven project — a warm and welcoming 6-bed refuge in the Weymouth area. Haven provides a safe space for women who have experienced rough sleeping and are facing complex challenges such as mental health issues, substance misuse, and domestic abuse. Our dedicated team is available 24/7, offering tailored support to help women rebuild their lives and move towards independence. As a Support Worker, you’ll be a key part of that journey.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing practical and emotional support to complex and vulnerable women in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular key work sessions, ensuring records are kept up to date.
  • Develop individual support and risk management plans for each of the residents.
  • Work in partnership with other agencies and advocate for clients to ensure their needs are met.
