We are looking to hire a Specialist Support Worker (Female Only Supported Housing).
About the Role
- Located at a 24-hour supported housing service in Clapham, we provide high-quality self-contained accommodation for 15 women who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantages. The aim of the service is to provide a therapeutic environment where women feel safe and can flourish, enabling them to move into independent, permanent accommodation. The accommodation also includes overnight safe spaces.
- You will provide direct support to all women and manage a small caseload of residents, for whom you will be the keyworker.
- You will work closely with support workers and the in-house psychologist, modeling person-led, psychological, gender, and culturally informed support. Building trust and being a great team player are essential.
- Shifts are 8 hours, typically Monday to Friday, with flexibility for weekends, covering 8am to 8pm. Please note the building has several floors and no lifts.
