We’re Hiring – Join Our Dairy House Team (Homeless Hostel)

Do you want a job that genuinely changes lives — in a place that feels different the moment you arrive? Dan, one of our former residents, described Dairy House as: “Like a family to me now – it’s beautiful. I love nature, so it is for me. All the staff are so lovely, and to work with the plants is beautiful.”

Dairy House is a 7‑bed rural, direct‑access hostel set on a beautiful working farm. We offer calm surroundings and the space needed to provide truly person‑centred, trauma‑informed support to people experiencing homelessness. We’re now recruiting to build a strong, flexible, and compassionate staff team. If you’re grounded, kind, and committed to supporting people with dignity and care, we’d love to hear from you.

Roles available:

  • Hostel / Service Lead
  • Senior Support Worker
  • Support Worker
  • Weekend & part‑time staff
  • Bank staff
  • Volunteers

Salary: £26,000–£28,000 pro rata

Hours: 35 per week (part‑time considered)

Contract: 12‑month contract (potential for extension)

Working pattern: Some evenings and weekends required

Dairy House is a well‑respected service with 11 years’ experience, working alongside Root Connections, a Community Market Garden that supports connection with nature and the local community. Come and be part of something that truly matters.
