Additional information: Valid driver's license and access to own vehicle – business insurance will be required for roles involving travel for work. Ability to work flexibly, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends when required. Please note this role requires frequent travel across districts.
About the Role
As an Assertive Outreach Worker, you’ll be on the frontline supporting individuals experiencing rough sleeping to take positive steps towards a safer, more stable future. Based in Gloucester, you’ll work out in the community, building trust, tackling challenges head-on, and helping people access the support they need. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where resilience, initiative, and a proactive mindset are key. Join a passionate team, work alongside partner agencies, and help create lasting change. What you’ll be doing
- Identify and build relationships with people who are rough sleeping in Gloucestershire, using outreach sessions and regular visits to agencies/venues visited by individuals who are rough sleeping.
- Maintain client records, so they are accurate and fully updated at all times.
- Ensure all clients are provided with high-quality person-centred services which takes a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
- Work collaboratively taking a multi-agency approach to safeguard clients.
