At Home Instead, we carefully match our Care Professionals with clients based on personality, interests, and compatibility.

This allows meaningful relationships to develop and helps us provide exceptional care.

Hours are built through ongoing client matches.

Once you are matched with clients, those visits are recurring each week, allowing you to develop a regular schedule and increase your hours over time as additional clients are introduced.

You will be engaged on a zero-hours contract, meaning there is no guaranteed minimum number of hours, but you'll be offered work as client matches become available, with the opportunity for your hours to grow steadily over time.

As a Care Professional, you will support older adults to remain independent in their own homes while providing companionship, encouragement, and practical assistance.

Duties may include

  • Providing companionship and meaningful social interaction
  • Supporting clients with everyday household tasks
  • Accompanying clients to appointments, social activities, or shopping trips
  • Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing

No two days are the same, but every day offers the opportunity to make a positive difference in someone's life.

With minimum one-hour visits and consistent client matching, you'll have the time to provide truly person-centred care and build trusted relationships with the people you support.

Please note that flexibility to work evenings and alternate weekends is required.

No qualifications or experience necessary; full training provided.

Compassionate, reliable, and good communicator with a passion for supporting people.

Desire to make a positive difference in the local community.

We encourage applications from all sectors of the community as we want to reflect the neighbourhoods in which we work.

Here at Home Instead we work as a team and are always here to help each other out.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults and expect all staff to share this commitment.

This role is subject to PVG checks (costs reimbursed after 3 months of successful employment).

Be part of the Home Instead community and work with friendly like-minded people who share your values.

Whether you already have experience in the care sector or are looking for a new career, we would love to hear from you!
