This role will involve building and maintaining our new website platform using Next.js, React, TypeScript, TailwindCSS and MongoDB. You will be working in a fast-paced environment to develop new website themes and add new features in a complex Next.js-based codebase (including a CMS). This is a great opportunity for the right person to take on a challenging and broad role. Homeflow is operating on a fully remote basis but occasional travel will be required for our company meet ups (bi-annually at most in the UK).
Typical job tasks include:
- Maintaining and developing our new website platform using Next.js
- Building new website themes and components
- Fixing bugs
- Getting involved with team-building during stand-ups, retros and team discussions
We're looking for someone who has:
- 5+ years' experience in front end web development
- Strong competency with TypeScript, React and Next.js
- Strong problem solving and debugging ability
- Good understanding of performance, optimisation and best practices; particularly in React
- A passion for web development - someone who is continuously learning about new technologies
- Excellent (Unix/Linux) command-line skills
