We are seeking a dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join our Therapy Team, providing specialist support to students with autism and/or learning difficulties who present with a range of communication needs, including complex profiles. The role involves assessing, planning and delivering evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions, contributing to EHCP outcomes, and supporting students to develop functional communication and independence. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, alongside internal colleagues and external agencies, to ensure high-quality, person-centred provision. The post also includes developing communication plans, delivering individual and group therapy sessions, advising and training staff, and contributing to service development, clinical governance and CPD. This is an excellent opportunity for an HCPC-registered Speech and Language Therapist who is passionate about inclusive practice, multi-agency working and making a meaningful difference to students' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy interventions.
  • Contribute to EHCP outcomes and support students to develop functional communication and independence.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team and with external agencies.
  • Develop communication plans, deliver individual and group therapy sessions, advise and train staff, and contribute to service development, clinical governance and CPD.
