Welcome to Homefield, a charity and specialist Further Education college delivering sustainable education, employment and life experiences. We support people whose primary need is autism or co-occurring conditions like ADHD and learning disabilities to be equal and active citizens. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Community Learning Manager to lead and develop our community services, including day provision, holiday programmes and social activities. This is an exciting opportunity to shape a person-centred, inclusive offer that supports individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism to develop independence, life skills and meaningful community connections.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and develop high-quality community services, ensuring a purposeful, accessible and engaging timetable
  • Promote independence, inclusion and lifelong learning for all service users
  • Build strong partnerships with local organisations to expand opportunities
  • Manage compliance including support plans, risk assessments and safeguarding
  • Act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead
  • Line-manage, coach and develop staff teams
  • Monitor budgets and ensure effective resource management
  • Contribute to strategic development of community services

About You

  • Has proven leadership experience in education or social care
  • Has experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
  • Is confident managing compliance, safeguarding and quality assurance
  • Is passionate about person-centred practice and co-production
  • Can build strong community partnerships and inspire teams

Essential Qualifications

  • Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management
  • Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Health & Social Care / Education)
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths & English
