We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team and support students to achieve, progress and develop independence in a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporttheeffective embedding ofLiteracy,Numeracy,Communication,IT,British ValuesandPreventinallaspectsoflearning.
- Support the incorporation of a student’s Behaviour and Communication Plan.
- Ensure that all students are supported appropriately and receive a safe learning experience, which meets both their individual needs and those of their EHCP.
- Support the process of tracking a student’s progress, including accurate record keeping (EFL).
- EnsurethesafetyofstudentsbysupportingandadheringtoRiskAssessments.
- Providemobilityandpersonalcaresupporttoourstudents where needed.
- Supportstudentsonvisitsandworkplacementopportunities.
- Ifnecessary,traveltomeetwiththestudent.
- Theabovelistisneitherexhaustivenorexclusive, andthepostholder willbeexpectedtoundertake anyother dutieswithintheircapabilityandexperiencethat may berelevantandnecessarytofulfiltheposteffectively.
