We’re HomeCooks, a fast-growing food startup reinventing how people eat at home. We operate across both D2C and retail, and we’re building one of the most ambitious food businesses in the UK.
We’re a lean, high-performance team that uses technology and AI heavily to move fast and scale intelligently. This is a chance to join at a pivotal stage of growth and play a major role in shaping how the business operates long term.
This is a high ownership operations role sitting at the centre of the business. Reporting directly to the COO, you will take responsibility for helping scale HomeCooks operationally across supply chain, fulfilment, logistics, customer experience, systems, and warehouse operations.
We’re looking for someone who can both execute and build — someone comfortable solving urgent operational issues one moment, then improving systems and processes for long-term scale the next.
You’ll work closely with suppliers, chefs, warehouse teams, couriers, customer operations, and technology systems to ensure the business runs smoothly as we continue to grow rapidly.
What You’ll Do
- Operations & Supply Chain
- Manage day-to-day supply chain across chefs, suppliers, and production partners
- Maintain food safety and temperature-controlled delivery standards
- Build strong supplier relationships and manage operational performance
- Monitor product quality, consistency, and availability
- Improve forecasting, production planning, and stock flow
- Lead and optimise warehouse and fulfilment operations
- Help build scalable warehouse systems as the business grows
- Manage courier relationships and delivery performance
- Reduce failed deliveries, refunds, and operational friction
- Manage operational systems across Shopify, subscriptions, inventory, and fulfilment
- Track key operational KPIs across fulfilment, delivery, waste, and customer experience
- Monitor inventory, margins, and operational costs
Strong experience in food, QSR, logistics, fulfilment, or D2C operations. London-based and able to travel when required.
Help shape the systems and operations behind a rapidly growing consumer brand. Be part of a business with ambitious plans across retail, D2C, and technology.
