About the Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting residents with their daily living needs while promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. You will lead by example, support care staff, and help ensure that exceptional standards of care are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Support residents with personal care, medication, mobility, and daily activities.
- Lead and mentor Care Assistants during shifts.
- Administer medication in line with policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns.
- Promote a safe, caring, and inclusive environment.
- Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a senior care role or similar position.
- Level 2 or Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (preferred).
- Medication administration experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding care and support.
