Female Support Worker – Brighton

Driver Essential

Full UK licence (21+ for insurance purposes)

Pay Rate: £14.40 per hour

Shift Patterns: Days Flexible between 8am and 10pm. Full flexibility required.

Hours: 16 hours per week

About Our Client

Our client is a sociable, lively 30-year-old woman with Angelman’s syndrome and learning disabilities. She loves spending time with friends at Aspirations, going to the cinema, listening to music, and relaxing at home. She is resilient, assertive, and has a great sense of humour, and she is looking for a supportive female carer to share experiences, outings, and everyday moments with her.

About the Role

  • Providing daily support and companionship
  • Supporting social outings, cinema trips, shopping, and appointments
  • Admin and record-keeping
  • Supporting with personal care
  • Moving and handling support

About You

  • Full UK driving licence (21+ for insurance purposes)
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
  • Comfortable accompanying the client on outings and appointments
  • Reliable, flexible, and upbeat
  • Experience with behaviour support
  • Knowledge of epilepsy and seizures
  • Care experience required
  • Passionate about making a real difference
