HomeCareDirect is looking for a Regional Care Nurse Lead to manage a caseload of clients with complex health needs in the Brighton and Hove area. The role is fully home‑based and will be carried out autonomously.
Key Responsibilities- Support people to live independently and manage their own support.
- Develop care and support plans in partnership with clients.
- Conduct annual support reviews, risk assessments and personal assistant inductions.
- Supervise, interview and observe personal assistants and ensure compliance.
- Complete documentation within required timescales.
- Attend team and MDT meetings and visit clients as required.
- Qualified nurse with at least Band 5 registration and valid NMC PIN.
- Clinical, complex care experience and experience in community as a lone worker.
- Commitment to CPD.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and the bespoke online care planning system.
- Experience in care‑planning and in providing personal assistant training.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Compassionate, listening, flexible and professional attitude.
- Must live in the Brighton and Hove region or be willing to relocate.
- Salary £44,850 increasing to £48,750 after 6‑month probation.
- Mileage paid at 48p per mile for first 10,000 miles, 25p thereafter.
- Food allowance: £8.99 breakfast, £20.00 evening meals.
- Contribution to professional registration £80 per annum.
- Holiday entitlement 20 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing to 25 days + 8 bank holidays after 1 year.
