About Us
HomeCareDirect is a nurse managed leading national provider of personalised, person-centred care and support for people at home. We empower people with complex social and health funded needs to live safely and independently in their own homes. We start with the person. A support team is built around each individual person, just and only for them. We work in partnership with each person to jointly interview and help select their own support team. HCD then employs the team selected and trains the team, to meet the individual needs of each person to CQC standards.

Responsibilities
- To have overall responsibility for the management of HCD Genesis Regional Nurses and Care Leads.
- Support the day-to-day management in meeting KPI targets
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Take the lead on Special Measures meetings
- Provide support to the Head Office teams and HCD Genesis nurses regarding safeguarding issues and to ensure correct procedures are followed
- Liaise with the Training Manager to ensure staff training needs are being met
- Effectively manage any complaints relating to HCD Genesis employees
- Promote the rights of each client and ensure their wishes are at the centre of their support
- Participate in the growth and development of the service
- Promote excellent customer service throughout the workplace, ensuring communication processes are meeting client expectations
- Raise any concerns with the Clinical Operations Director
- Ensure notifications are submitted to the Care Quality Commission as required
- Undertake and support specific projects and tasks allocated by the Company Director
- Attend quarterly management meetings
Qualifications
- NMC-registered Mental Health Nurse (Band 5 or higher) – qualified for at least 2 years
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care
- Experience in Forensic Mental Health
- Extensive knowledge of the Health & Social Care Act 2008
- Previous experience of working in a Management role
- Previous experience of Complex Autism with associated Mental Health conditions
- Competent in Microsoft Office and IT systems
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- Flexible and professional with a high attention to detail
Desirable:
- Experience in facilitating or planning discharges from specialist inpatient settings
- Experience of home-based support services
- Knowledge of Personal Health Budgets, Direct Payments and Case Management compensation claims
