We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Female Support Worker, Personal Assistant (PA), or Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to provide person-centred care and support.

You will be supporting a lady who lives with her son.

Her primary illness is spinal injury and autonomic dysreflexia.

She is a positive and social person.

She is an open minded, fun person who is very thoughtful and patient with other people.

She has a little dog, who likes to go out for a walk.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support someone to live as independently as possible while respecting their routine and choices.

About The Role

  • Providing support with daily routines and activities
  • Personal care and medication support
  • Supporting with cooking, household tasks, and light admin
  • Supporting appointments, outings, and social activities
  • Encouraging engagement in interests and hobbies

About You

  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
  • Friendly, patient, and well organised
  • Care experience Essential
  • Knowledge in Spinal Injury Care desirable
  • Comfortable working around dogs
  • Comfortable working within a smoking environment
