We are recruiting compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living services. You will be supporting children with high-quality, child-centred care that promotes the safety, well-being, development, and independence of children and young people living in a residential care home. The role involves creating a stable, nurturing environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities

Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.

Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support.

Encourage positive behaviour using agreed behaviour management strategies.

Support children in developing life skills, independence, and self-confidence.

Promote children's physical, emotional, educational, and social development.
-
Assist with personal care where appropriate.
-
Prepare meals and encourage healthy eating habits.
-
Support children with household routines, hygiene, and personal organisation.

Ensure the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
Applicants should hold current training or be competent in the following:-
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent);

Safeguarding Children Level 3

Medication Administration
-
PMVA (no alternatives accepted)

Self-Harm including Ligature
-
DBS on the Update Service

What We're Looking For
-
Experience working with children or young people.
-
Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.

Understanding of trauma-informed care is desirable.

Experience in residential care is advantageous
-
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
