Homecare Gurus Ltd is looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Live-in Companion / Support Assistant to support a client in their own home. Please note: due to the nature of this live-in placement, including living in the client's home, supporting with personal routines such as oral hygiene, and respecting the client's dignity, privacy and personal preferences, this role is open to female applicants only.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping people live safely, comfortably and independently while receiving high-quality, person-centred support. As a Live-in Support Assistant, you will live in the client's home during your placement and provide day-to-day support to include supporting with showering, companionship, household tasks and wellbeing.

The client enjoys freshly prepared British-style meals, so the successful applicant should be confident preparing simple, nutritious home-cooked meals such as traditional British dishes, in line with the client's preferences, dietary needs and care plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting with personal routines, including dressing, grooming and toileting
  • Assisting with mobility and transfers, including the use of mobility aids where required
  • Preparing fresh meals
