Job Description Description We are recruiting compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Support Workers to join our Supported Living services.

You will be supporting children with high-quality, child-centred care that promotes the safety, well-being, development, and independence of children and young people living in a residential care home.

The role involves creating a stable, nurturing environment where children can thrive emotionally, socially, and academically.

About The Role Key Responsibilities Build positive, trusting relationships with children and young people.

Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support.

Encourage positive behaviour using agreed behaviour management strategies.

Support children in developing life skills, independence, and self-confidence.

Promote children's physical, emotional, educational, and social development.

Assist with personal care where appropriate.

Prepare meals and encourage healthy eating habits.

Support children with household routines, hygiene, and personal organisation.

Ensure the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.

Applicants should hold current training or be competent in the following: NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent);

  • Safeguarding Children Level 3
  • Medication Administration
  • PMVA ( no alternatives accepted)
  • Self-Harm including Ligature
  • DBS on the Update Service
  • DRIVERS ONLY (FULL UK DRIVING LICENSE REQUIRED)

What We're Looking For Experience working with children or young people.

Experience supporting vulnerable individuals.

Understanding of trauma-informed care is desirable.

Experience in residential care is advantageous.

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays where required.
