Do you have hands-on care experience? Are you passionate about crafts and cats? If so, you might be just the person our client is looking for. We are recruiting a warm, reliable, and proactive support worker to assist a lively and sociable lady living with complex neurological conditions and epilepsy. Her care needs can vary day to day, so adaptability is key. Support may include personal care, administering medication, moving and handling (including hoist use), and general household tasks.
She lives at home with her husband and her beloved cat, Clive. Her hobbies include gardening, crafting, bargain-hunting at car boot sales, and volunteering at the local hospital. She loves getting out and about, so you'll be helping her stay active and engaged in the community.
While full CQC-standard training is provided, our client would prefer someone with practical experience and a good understanding of seizures.
- Role details:
- Part-time: 16 hours per week
- Schedule: 2 days a week, typically 9am-5pm
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
If you're someone who brings empathy, energy, and a genuine desire to make a difference, we'd love to hear from you.
