Our client is a young man who lives at home with his parents in a property adapted to meet his mobility needs. He is a wheelchair user and has equipment in place, including a track hoist in his bedroom, to support safe and effective care.

He enjoys spending time on his Xbox, watching wrestling, and playing classic board games such as Monopoly. Technology plays a big role in his life and independence, as he uses his iPad and TV with tongue and voice controls.

He benefits from support from someone reliable, patient and engaging, who can help him enjoy his interests while ensuring his comfort, safety and wellbeing.

About the Role

  • Providing 1:1 support throughout the night
  • Supporting with all aspects of personal care and daily living
  • Assisting with the use of specialist equipment, including a track hoist
  • Supporting mobility, comfort and safety
  • Encouraging engagement in hobbies such as gaming, films and board games
  • Providing companionship and promoting independence

About You

  • Eligible to work in the UK (please note, sponsorship is not available)
  • Calm, patient and compassionate with strong communication skills
  • Reliable, dependable and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a home with cats
  • Previous care experience is essential
