HomeCareDirect is looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to join our team supporting a young woman living at home with her brother. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, person-centred support and help someone enjoy the routines and activities that matter most to her.

About the Person You Will Support

She has cerebral palsy, learning disabilities and autistic traits. She can walk short distances but requires attentive support due to balance and coordination needs. She enjoys trips out, especially visiting Burger King and spending time playing 2p slot machines. She communicates verbally and benefits from clear, short instructions with time to process information. Her brother is closely involved in her care and supports carers in maintaining her routine.

About You

  • Full UK driving licence essential for day shifts.
  • Must be 21+ for insurance purposes
  • Previous care experience preferred but not essential
  • Experience supporting challenging behaviours desirable
  • Knowledge of epilepsy desirable
  • Reliable, flexible and positive in your approach
  • Passionate about making a genuine difference
