Meet Our Client
You will be supporting a woman in her adult years who lives independently in her own adapted bungalow. She enjoys getting out and about, including horse riding, and spending time with her cat at home. She has a traumatic brain injury and some mobility challenges, using a wheelchair for longer distances while also being able to walk short distances. Your role will focus on supporting her safety, independence and daily routine, while encouraging her to continue enjoying her hobbies and lifestyle. She also enjoys spending time at her static caravan in Norfolk, where you will support her during visits as part of her usual care.
About the Role
- Providing 1:1 support with daily routines and activities
- Personal care and mobility support
- Assisting with Moving and Handling
- Supporting with community access and hobbies, including outdoor activities
- Assisting with household tasks and general organisation
- Supporting with appointments and time away at her caravan
- Promoting independence while ensuring safety at all times
About You
- Full clean UK driving licence (21+ required for insurance purposes)
- Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
