Meet Our Client: You will be supporting a man in his late 30s who lives in his own home and enjoys getting out into the community, especially trips to the beach and local days out. He has autism and learning disabilities. Your role will focus on supporting his safety, independence and daily routine, while respecting his choices and encouraging the activities he enjoys.
About the Role:
- Providing 1:1 support with daily routines and activities
- Personal care and medication support
- Assisting with Moving & Handling
- Supporting with cooking, household tasks, and light admin
- Supporting appointments, outings, and on holiday
- Encouraging engagement in interests and hobbies
About You:
- Full clean UK driving licence (25+ required for insurance purposes)
- Eligibility to Work in the UK: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Home Care Direct does not offer sponsorship or work visas
- Friendly, patient, and well organised
- Care experience preferred
- Committed to providing safe, respectful, and consistent support
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism and Behaviours that Challenge - desirable.
