Role Description

We are hiring a Procurement Specialist to join our team in a full-time, hybrid role (two days in the office), with a salary of Β£30,000 – Β£35,000 depending on experience. Working hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Working closely with our Design Procurement Manager, you will play a key role in keeping our projects running smoothly β€” from placing orders to sourcing and onboarding suppliers, managing stock, and driving cost efficiencies.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Placing and tracking orders from placement through to delivery, resolving any delays or discrepancies
  • Stay one step ahead by anticipating and communicating any potential ordering delays or roadblocks early, giving the team the time needed to keep projects moving smoothly.
  • Maintain and update internal procurement documentation to a high standard, ensuring clear visibility of project progress and enabling seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Researching and onboarding new suppliers across furniture, accessories, kitchenware, and bedding
  • Building strong supplier relationships and negotiating pricing, terms, and commercial agreements
  • Monitoring stock levels, supporting replenishment planning, and maintaining accurate inventory records
  • Keep procurement finances in good order, ensuring all spend is logged accurately and up to date to support smooth financial reporting
  • Identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality
  • Tracking procurement KPIs and maintaining clear reporting across the supply base
  • Contributing to responsible supplier selection in line with our ESG commitments

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is commercially minded, highly organised, and takes real ownership and pride of their work. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or inventory management
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and find practical solutions
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Solid Excel or data analysis skills
  • Background in interiors, furniture, or homeware
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Experience in a fast-paced or startup to growth business environment
