Salary circa £29,236 per annum plus brilliant benefits including health cash plan! Temporary (18 months contract), full time (37.5 hpw), hybrid working Newcastle City Centre.

You’ll go beyond the paperwork and help to navigate the complexities of property law while supporting decisions that truly matter.

What you'll do:

  • Working at the heart of our property function, confidently handling and reviewing a broad range of property documents, including leases, transfers and planning materials.
  • Produce clear, insightful legal reports that give the business a strong understanding of its property portfolio, responsibilities and opportunities.
  • Acting as a key connector, bringing people together by working closely with lawyers, external advisers and teams across Home Group, ensuring information flows smoothly and decisions are well informed.
  • Take pride in maintaining well organised, accessible property records and presenting information in ways that genuinely support the business.
  • Play an active role in conversations around property strategy, funding opportunities and responsibilities, helping to shape outcomes that really matter.

You have:

  • Ability to use departmental and group-wide processes to drive continuous improvement across Legal Services.
  • Strong understanding of Home’s wider business context to provide effective, risk-aware legal advice.
  • Experience handling a broad range of general property matters, working independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal and external stakeholders, including agencies.
  • Strong document management and IT skills, with the initiative to resolve queries independently.

The practical bits:

  • Working Monday to Friday.
  • You’ll manage your own diary, so if you need to take a longer lunch we're ok with that!
  • This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend 2 days in the office, 3 days working at home.
  • 34 days leave (includes bank hols and a “me day” to use whenever you fancy) increasing to 39, the option to buy 5 more, and time off for volunteering too!
