Home, a place where you belong. This is a great opportunity to join our team. You’ll support our customers, ensuring their homes are safe and well maintained. Providing a housing management service, you’ll support them to manage and maintain their tenancy and rent accounts with the aim of helping them move on to secure, long-term accommodation!

What you’ll do:

  • Customer group - over 55s independent living.
  • Making sure that our customers’ properties are homes they can be proud of, you’ll support your customers by engaging and involving them in their tenancies.
  • Help our customers with housing benefit claims, making sure that these are received on their rent account.
  • To support the next customer who needs our help and for maximum occupancy, you’ll turn around vacant properties.
  • You’ll carry out and record the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities making sure we’re compliant.
  • You’ll also manage the admin updating records, ordering, and arranging payment for works to be done.

You have:

  • A background in property management, but that’s not a deal breaker!
  • Perhaps you’ve worked in an environment with compliance and health and safety checks?
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help your customers.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds.
  • Confidence working collaboratively with colleagues in other parts of the business as well as with external partners.
  • Passion for property and get a thrill out of knowing that your properties are the best they can be for our customers!

The practical bits:

  • Working Mon-Friday. 09:30 - 13:15. Flexible for the correct candidate.
  • You’ll manage your own diary.
  • Based at our service in Egremont, you’ll spend your time in the service or occasional cover in one of our other services.
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans, making benefit claims and doing tenancy sign-ups.
  • To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
