Pay £14.06 per hour and £50 per shift. Casual / Flexible Work, hours to suit you. West Cornwall, Falmouth, Cambourne, Penzance or any surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support.
  • Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
  • Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
  • Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers.
  • Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community.

What we’re looking for

  • Flexibility to work at short notice and pick your next shift.
  • Confidence to work in different services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
  • Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
  • Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
  • The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
  • Role can be worked in any of our residential services in West Cornwall or within our Outreach Floating support as and when required.

Practical details

  • Hours depend on which service you agree to work in; could be Mon‑Fri (9-5) or weekend/evening shifts (whichever suits you as we have a variety of different services).
  • Work flexibly across West Cornwall in residential (Homeless, ASC) or Outreach Services.
  • Office base location can be discussed/finalised at interview (Falmouth/Cambourne/Penzance).
  • Mileage will be paid from base location for any travel within work time.
  • You need an Enhanced with Barring List (we pay).
  • A vehicle insured for business use (and a licence!), we’ll pay for any business mileage.
