Pay £14.06 per hour and £50 per shift. Casual / Flexible Work, hours to suit you. West Cornwall, Falmouth, Cambourne, Penzance or any surrounding areas.
Responsibilities
- Lead support planning and coordinate our Support Workers to deliver person‑centred support.
- Balance support, safeguarding, admin and meetings while guiding colleagues and managing caseloads.
- Support customers with daily tasks like budgeting, cooking and attending appointments.
- Work with multi‑agency teams to safeguard and empower our customers.
- Help customers build independence and prepare for their move‑on into the community.
What we’re looking for
- Flexibility to work at short notice and pick your next shift.
- Confidence to work in different services, locations or teams and get on with colleagues.
- Passion and experience in supporting others, ideally in a supported housing setting.
- Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
- The ability to work under your own initiative, remain calm under pressure and have a resilient approach.
- Role can be worked in any of our residential services in West Cornwall or within our Outreach Floating support as and when required.
Practical details
- Hours depend on which service you agree to work in; could be Mon‑Fri (9-5) or weekend/evening shifts (whichever suits you as we have a variety of different services).
- Work flexibly across West Cornwall in residential (Homeless, ASC) or Outreach Services.
- Office base location can be discussed/finalised at interview (Falmouth/Cambourne/Penzance).
- Mileage will be paid from base location for any travel within work time.
- You need an Enhanced with Barring List (we pay).
- A vehicle insured for business use (and a licence!), we’ll pay for any business mileage.
