Home Support Matters is looking for a highly organised and people-focused Care Coordinator to join our Beccles team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem solving, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a real difference in people's lives.
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate rotas and allocate care/support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Be the central contact for customers, families, and professionals
- Support new referrals, care planning and customer communications
- Maintain accurate records and use electronic monitoring systems
- Line manage care/support workers and support with queries
- Monitor service delivery, resolve issues and escalate where needed
- Take part in the weekend on-call rota (8 hours every 2 weeks either a Sat or Sun, no field deployment, managed from home. Paid in addition to salary at enhanced rate)
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication and telephone skills
- Good IT and administrative abilities
- Customer service experience (1 year+)
- Experience in the care sector
- Ability to prioritise, multitask and stay calm under pressure
Desirable:
- Experience managing people or working in a regulated care setting.
