Join Home Support Matters as a Reablement Support Worker across Great Yarmouth, Northern Villages, and Central Norwich. You’ll play a key role in supporting people to get back on their feet and live safely in their own homes.

What You’ll Earn:

  • £12.40/hour weekdays

  • £12.51/hour weekends

  • 42p per mile mileage

  • Paid travel time

Example Weekly Earnings (30 hours):

  • Direct support = £372

  • Travel time (approx. 2.5h) = £31

  • 100 miles of driving = £42

  • Total = Up to £445/week – over £23,100 per year*

  • *Subject to tax/NI deductions

What You’ll Do as a Reablement Support Worker:

As a Reablement Support Worker, you\’ll provide short-term, person-centred support to help individuals:

  • Regain lost skills after illness, injury or a hospital stay

  • Promote independence and confidence in everyday activities like cooking, dressing, mobility, or going out

  • Encourage and guide rather than \”do for\” – helping people achieve their own goals

  • Monitor progress, celebrate milestones, and record outcomes using our easy documentation systems

  • Work closely with supervisors and healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each individual

Most support plans last up to 6 weeks – some just a couple – making this role ideal for those who love variety and seeing rapid progress in the people they help.

What You’ll Need:

  • A valid UK driving licence, access to your own car, and business insurance (not essential)

  • A compassionate, encouraging and observant nature

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills

  • Availability on alternate weekends

  • The right to work in the UK
