Overview
Care Worker – Block Shifts role at Home Support Matters. Block shift care workers are needed to support people in Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas to stay safe, independent, and happy in their own homes.
Block Shift Details
- Shifts run every day
- 07:00 – 14:30
- 16:00 – 21:00
- Sign up for as many shifts as you like
- The service operates 7 days a week, offering potential earnings
What You\’ll Earn
- £13.10 per hour weekdays
- £14.06 per hour weekends
- 42p per mile mileage
- Paid travel time
Example Weekly Earnings
- 30 hours of direct care = £393
- 100 miles of driving = £42
- Travel time (approx. 2.5h) = £31
- Total = £466/week – over £24,200 a year*
- Subject to tax/NI deductions

What You\’ll Need
